In a year, the economic crisis will begin in Russia if the trade war between China and the United States continues. This conclusion was made by specialists from the Center for Market Studies of the Higher School of Economics, RIA Novosti reported.
This is due to the fact that the tariff confrontation between the two largest economies of the planet is accompanied by a decrease in energy consumption in these countries. The result is a decrease in demand and a drop in hydrocarbon prices – the main source of income for the Russian economy.
Experts are convinced that this situation will lead to problems for the budget of the Russian Federation, increasing inflation and slowing economic growth “up to the transition to recession.” In addition, the report notes that 10-12 years is “a favorable period for inflating financial bubbles,” namely, so much time has passed since the last world crisis.
